Lunch Bunch Program
This program will continue during the 2010-2011 school year.
Ascension Lutheran Preschool is happy to offer the Lunch Bunch Program to all of our Preschool and Pre-K students. Lunch Bunch gives the children an opportunity to eat a lunch brought from home and to enjoy some unstructured play time together.
This school year Lunch Bunch will be offered on Monday through Thursday. Lunch Bunch begins at 11:30 a.m. or whenever the student’s class ends and lasts until 1:00 p.m. Children are to use the Lunch Bunch Program only on the days they are attending school. Lunch Bunch will be limited to 10 students per day and will be offered on a first come first serve basis.
The cost for Lunch Bunch is based upon how the program is used. If a student is signed up to use Lunch Bunch regularly throughout the year, the students will be charged $16.00 per month for each day of the week. If used on a regular basis, Lunch Bunch payments are paid with your monthly tuition as follows:
3-year-old Preschool students Tuition + 1 day Lunch Bunch per week = $90.00 + $16.00 = $106.00/month Tuition + 2 days Lunch Bunch per week = $90.00 + $32.00 = $122.00/month
Pre-K 3 day week students Tuition + 1 day Lunch Bunch per week = $110.00 + $16.00 = $126.00/month Tuition + 2 days Lunch Bunch per week = $110.00 + $32.00 = $142.00/month Tuition + 3 days Lunch Bunch per week = $110.00 + $48.00 = $158.00/month
Pre K 4 day week students Tuition + 1 day Lunch Bunch per week = $125.00 + $16.00 = $141.00/month Tuition + 2 days Lunch Bunch per week = $125.00 + $32.00 = $157.00/month Tuition + 3 days Lunch Bunch per week = $125.00 + $48.00 = $173.00/month Tuition + 4 days Lunch Bunch per week = $125.00 + $64.00 = $189.00/month
If Lunch Bunch is used on an as needed basis, the cost is $7.00 per session.
Out of courtesy, please be on time to pick up your child. We will charge a late fee of $1.00 per minute if parents arrive after 1:00.
You should bring your child’s lunch and drink in a clearly labeled lunch box or bag. Lunches will be refrigerated. Children will not be allowed to share food with their friends. Due to several of our students having severe peanut allergies, we ask that no peanut butter or peanut products are packed in Lunch Bunch lunches. We will send home any uneaten food so you will know what your child is and is not eating.
Lunch Bunch is a wonderful opportunity for children to work on those all important social skills while offering parents some flexibility in their schedule as it allows for a later pick-up time students.
